Stephen Metcalfe - Writer and Director

El Abuelo, a short film, is now out in the world. I wrote the screenplay in the sumer of 2010 and production was spring, 2011. . It is the story of an unlikely friendship - that of a boy on the autism spectrum, Nick, and an old man, an illegal Mexican immigrant, who sells fruit and flowers on the street. The film was directed by Stephen Crutchfield and was produced by Patrick Scott and Drama House. I've posted the entire script under screenplays.
